OK, you snorkel but with a detector, or what, and which one?

I put on my wet suit or my dry suit waders, bring a 4 foot long water scoop, and fire up my water proof CZ-20 or my 1280X and away I go. I'll wade up to my chest or neck. Not just rivers, but also lakes and swimming lagoons as well. Dig everything above iron and hopefully a piece of gold will come up with a few hours worth of hunting. ;D

Hey Kanyon, nice to see you posting again. I go both in the water and on the bank. Both are good places for coins, but the jewelry is in the water. Ferry landings have the coins on the bank, old bottles in the water. People waited for the ferry, and lost coins on the bank. At old places I dig every non-ferrous signal. Good luck! Niffler

Do a "google" on White's prism.....I am 99.9% sure that the head is waterproof.....but you better know about the box part.
If it isn't, and i doubt that it is, then you want to keep it OUT OF THE WATER.
