Wow!!! Hi every one, I'm brand new at this hobby and have just purchased my first detector ( Minelab Safari) and I'm learning how to use it. My Son in Law was doing some planting in my back yard over a year ago and lost his size 13 tungsten wedding band valued at $ 856.00 About 2 hrs.ago 10 minutes into searching the area I received a target hit of 35 in the all medal mode and after pinpointing it I found it about 4" deep. He does not know yet but I told my daughter and she is just ecstatic about it and so am I. Very excited about my new hobby and can't wait to go to the beaches and do some more hunting.

WELCOME,

Welcome to the world of those that wave magic disks on the end of sticks across the barren tundra in search of some worthwhile treasure morsel!!

In other words, join the insanity! There is lots of it to go around and some really great people. I should know, I have hunted with almost 15 of them or so.

Show us what you find, we love pictures.

Bob

Did I tell you we got to have pictures? We love pictures.
