I've never had a William shilling that good, an absolute beauty It wasn't long off the ship before being lost, judging by it's condition !!.

I was going to say similar, although Dad had a pretty good one & I have had the odd one pretty close, its still a rare find in the UK. More chance of a 16th century hammered

I maybe didn't say enough on the ring before, because I thought it spoke for itself. I agree it should have made Banner, just like Robfinds should have made it but didn't. Maybe people are more focussed on coins instead of artefacts Personally I don't worry about it, I've had many that I would consider Banner worthy that never made it, & some which were not worthy & did made it. Just best knowing your own mind on these & keep doing what your doing - it workss!
