Hello all, hit a few sites last couple of days. Found a place next to my farm that is lake frontage in the summer, but now it's banks are dry and I've found a few interesting things there.

-1903 indian head
-I think 60 caliber mini ( in the same pic is a (7mm or 2-25 ? not sure havn't measured yet)
-old vasoline jar ( reads-trade mark Vasoline, Chesebrough, New York)
-1951 7-up bottle ( you can read the etching in the glass if you turn it right, says 7-up bottling co., Knox, TN)
-a big iron ring with some kind of clasp or hook
-a row of sinkers on the same line, 10 ea ? strange
-3 or 4 pieces of an old lighter
-4 old shot gun shell ends
-old brad of some sort

The other picture is a another site which is a county park since 1961, not much there!

- 4 Lincolns-1965, 1972,1977,& a 1993(the worst condition of all)
-the piece in the middle is a cheap souvenir that says "Air Force Museum"

I had some iron, but I'll try to show it latter- plow points, etc.

An Indian Head penny and some cool old bottles, sounds like a good hunt to me! That iron thingy looks pretty cool too!

treasurekid,
If your talking about the first picture it does look strange in the photo,it's say Air force Musuem on it. Sorry about the lack of detail, I'm trying to get software for my new camera to work(thats from my old 1.3 mg pixel camera, I can't get any close ups).Better pics coming soon.

ps: it looks like a lion or something?

from what I hear they didn't have much to lose though....
