CKK has had a few bad weeks in a row but that all changed today when a really good detecting trip was recorded in Kyle's journal. Kyle and I went yesterday to secure permission for a promising site . It turned out to be a good day for permission. 2 locations, 2 affirmative responses. Site number 2 will be saved for probably next week. We started swinging and were not having good luck right away. We found a late 1800's Hick Outpost that did not produce a whole lot. After swinging our way back towards the still standing barn...BAM...Buttons out the Ying Yang. I popped out the first copper for the day that I at first thought was a Connecticut copper but turned out being a KG II.Not in the greatest shpe but hey I'll take it. A couple of Tomback buttons, A small silver coated button, a few more copper flat buttons and a nice jews harp was then found. I then got a nice 77 VDI on my Vision with low(green) frequency predominant copper reading. It turned out to be this nice 1794 Liberty Cap Thicky L.C. that Is my favorite copper to find. Kyle took a picture of it right after I found it and I will add it to this post later. Thanks everyone for reading this post. Chris
