First coin dug in Montana

Got out today and the first coin i dug was a 1916 D Buffalo Nickle.

I'm jealous!
We just got 5" of snow again. I think LaCrosse got 7".
Nice way to start. Buffalo nickels with readable dates are good. Especially early ones. Way to go, again!

It is readable, but still has some dirt on it. I got some jobs around the house to do tomarrow. Ground is a little different here compared to Wisconsin.

The ground is all digible here in Billings. It is in the high 40's everyday.
