:hello: HI Y'all, I just CANNOT believe it I am pretty Stunned right now :o We went out digging this morning with no real sites

in mind and spent the first couple hours digging some colonial buckles and civil war items....when we decided to go

back to a spot that we have hit before and hit a couple days ago....First 5 minutes I dug a 1898 V-Nickel which is

pretty cool in its own right.......then I came across a signal hitting about +18 to +20 on the MXT and I was

debating on digging it...but as you know that old addage...DIG EVERYTHING...IT REALLY REALLY applies here

where I live because LOTS of Colonial flat buttons and flower buttons hit in that range.....SO, I popped it out and

out popped this little disc about the size of a Half-Reale....I could read the CAROLVS plan as day on it and we were

debating whether it was copper or silver as it was only hitting in the +40s when I got it out....Anyway, its copper

and its very thin and very old.... I was going to post the stuff I found yesterday which consisted of an 1852

Large Cent, a mystery copper that looks to be 1800s with Hindu writing and a wreath and these other items and I

WAS HAPPY WITH THOSE THINGS!!! Which is why this is UNBELIEVEABLE icing on the cake and after just digging that early

1700s French silver 3 days ago....

Type: 1625-1649 (Charles I) Royal Farthing

With oil
MD Pics 363.jpg

Reverse (This back is going to clean up nice, all the detail is there, its just going to take me longer to clean the dirt
buildup off of it as this was the side facing up....It should come off after a couple days in oil

Thanks guys for looking! :-\ :hello2:

Note the driver in the car is smiling. ;D (and the guy on the ground is not) : :headbang: :laughing7: A down for the count Galoot! ....and you just know the guy in the orange pointing the finger is yelling "OWNED!" :laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9:

That's my world cup contribution for 2010.

He's German!

No self respecting English hooligan would let that happen :laughing7:

The little bloke looks to be taking advantage anyway, and probably ran when the German got up >:(

:laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9: THAT'S HILARIOUS. I have respect for those English "Soccer" thugs as that's
where my roots come from!

Thanks for the compliments and for the guys who've voted Banner for this find! Really, if this or the 1727 Leopold I Silver Denier that I dug 4 days ago isn't a Banner find Coming from the United States....20 minutes from Jamestown Est. 1607, than there's nothing I will subsequently dig that will be as I can hardly dig anything older, rarer, or in better shape here ;D  :icon_thumleft:

I can't believe this isn't up on the banner yet :icon_scratch:, but at least I can now vote for it. I don't know how I missed this yesterday.

That's a good question and not sure but I can say that I'm VERY happy for the support that I've gotten from my ENGLISH brethren...

I hope that it isn't because people are mad that I dug it?? :dontknow: :icon_scratch:

I talked to Jeff and he said he didn't want to put 2 silver coins side by side on the banner as far as the Silver Denier goes....the farthing is copper so maybe this one will be better next to the silver.....or perhaps someone will make the banner in between and he will put the Silver Denier and/or the Farthing up
