I spent a little over an hour in the half mowed field that I hit on tuesday. Tonight was lead night I guess. Lots of it ! A few pounds anyway...

The find of the night is the rosette ! I have not cleaned it yet. I need to seal the back before I can do anything to it. I think that there is some amazing gilt under the white haze. It looks like three points of attachment on the back :dontknow: Maybe used where two leather straps crossed each other :icon_scratch:
The small Do Dad on the dime..... I really have no idea ;D The flat button is kinda spent :-\

The back is pewter or lead but the face is probably copper :icon_scratch: I can see gilt under the haze but I dont dare to clean yet.
