1840's Cranston Home Hunt.... Indian 9 & 10, Silver Whatsit, Wheats, Button

Hello everyone,
Thought I was going to give it a break today but ended up hunting 7 hours with my other hunting partner, Randy. I will also post the pics of yesterdays 1833 home and 1852 home hunt with Terry Everly as promissed :tongue3: First of all, I stopped by to thank the owner of the 1833 home as he was not home yesterday when we left. He said that we are welcome to come back again. This site gave up 3 Indians and a nice counterstamped civil War store card. Lots of old wheat's and 2 silver quarters for me. Also the Shriner's pocket watch with FOB.

The second house we hunted was built in 1852. ( the green house) The lady (widow) first said no then as we struck up a conversation she began to open up. To make things super, Terry found a silver ring that her late husband had bought here 6 years earlier while in Sturgis. She almost cried. Then she let us have free reign of her yard but the heat and humidity quickly got the best of both of us. We will hit it again soon :icon_profileright:

Then on with todays hunt back at the Cranston home built in 184?. I have really been working the side yards over and over again and it paid off today with 3 Indians (2 of mine) and 1 by Randy. With what terry found and myself and randy the numbers are 13 Indians. However, still no old silver or largies???? I have found quite a few mercs, 2 quarters a Rossie and a Walking liberty last week. Not to shabby ;D

Today I found the 2 Indians, 3 wheat's, a pocket knife, a thimble, button, some kind of brass cap, some kind of badge with the pin still intact, a piece of sterling silver, and a bunch of quarters, dimes and pennies.

These 3 place will keep me busy for a while and I also have 2 other leads from the lady in the green Victorian house. Thanks terry for making her happy by finding that ring. One of my other leads is to look for a 3 carat diamond ring that the guy said was lost on his property.

Thanks for looking, Ron

The first house is the 1833 that we hunted on Saturday
