I don't understand anything about old Russian artifacts but I assume that if the button is old, it should have some sort of imperial cypher on it. Can it be of Soviet Era?

I completely forgot that once Finland was a part of Russia. So it's a button of 6th Finnish Settlement Regiment. What can I say - Russian buttons are quite plain looking compared to English ones.
