Havent' been posting at all lately. I just recently had my 3rd baby. My time is very limited, and I work MANY MANY hours. Fortunately I"m still able to get out for short hunts. The 1731 KGII Farthing came from a late 1600's lawn, came out of the ground in BEAUTIFUL shape, I didn't have to even clean it much. The 1794 Liberty Cap came from a cellar hole. She is in very rough shape, but my very first liberty cap....I'm very excited. When I seen how thick it was when it came out of the ground I knew right then it was a liberty cap.....I had to sit there for a minute on my knees in amazement. One of the highest "wishlist" coins now crossed off. I just wish the large cent could have been in half the condition as the farthing. DOLLAR is completely visible on the edge, and 1794 is visible when wet and tipped back and forth. Well, sorry this post is short and sweet....Hopefully I'll have more soon. But for now, I'm back to changing diapers and feeding bottles....gotta love it. Thanks for lookin
