I had an hour to burn this morning, so I went down and hunted on an old fresh water swimming beach. The beach has been closed to swimmers for about 2 years now, but was active back as far as when my parents were kids (50s). Not much, but I did find my first religious medal. I'm not sure if it's silver or not, as it's not marked at all. But it looks old, and looks silver, and weighs a lot for such a little medal. Found a little clad (very little, lol), a junk heart pendant, and as usual, lot's of junk. Pic below, and HH!

I love the medal, Mt Carmel, hmm there's a city in Pennsylvania with that name. Was it found near there or maybe there's a different meaning to it? Just curious
