all this found at an old homestead dating back to the late 1800s.
Havent took the shilling to anyone to see if its real or fake, gotta be a fake but never the less a cool find.
I know a magnet wont stick to it and cant see the word copy on it but something just tells me its a copy.
also found 2 silver quarters and a 1930s manoil roadster. lastly i found a 1931d semi key wheat, that makes 3 semi key wheat pennies i have found at this same house. hope everyone is being careful out in the heat and HH all!

The coin looks cast, rather than struck (bubbles in the surface).. Unless it's seen some heat at sometime.

Like the car !! New Hampshire did not bang those out . These were from Massachusetts, pine tree shilling . The one in the pic is the real deal , there is a difference . Lots of replica copies out there & still a cool find. 8)

I have no clue why your title calls it a New Hampshire shilling. I can see pretty clearly where it says Massachusetts on it as it should if it's real. I'd have it looked at by an expert just to be sure.
