A Pocket Watch!

My niece called me this morning ready to go huntin again. She had a park in mind that we should go and hunt today...so we did.

Found a pocket watch....says Lucerne. Also found another ring..but I'm thinkin it's not silver...can't see any writing on it... got another horse shoe but no bullets and some clad and the car and lots and lots of junk....not with a que either....it's junk! I'll post that picture for you know who.

Looks like another good day for y'all. I got out for the first time in about 4 months today. Hit a Columbia River swim beach where the water was low. One dime, two pennies & a ton of junk just like yours. It was great to get out for a couple of hours. Congrats on the pocket watch. I found one last year but no face on it.

I don't think this watch will ever look like that one Gypsy! :P It's pretty bad on the back side. And the junk.....what I dug up isn't a drop in the bucket as to what is still there! Lots and lots of junk! I think I was just lucky to find anything close to being a keeper. I found the horse shoe in what use to be a flower bed. I think maybe they had brought in the dirt from somewhere else to fill them. The place does have some age on it and I would love it if someone would go and clean out the bottle tops and tabs for me! Any takers?
