1788 Massachusetts Colonial Copper

Went back to the 1733-1800 site for a few hours...The deer flies were very bad...We hunted for about 3 hours..The first 2 1/2 hour turned up nothing but shotgun shells...And then this beauty popped out of the dirt...The condition is not that good but i was very happy with it...They dont turn up that often...It is my second...I consider myself very lucky to have found one...nevermind a second one

Nice one Brian. Mass. cents are hard to come by for me this year aswell. Found 3 last year but am skunked so far this year. Take em anyway you can get em.

That is a good find with out a size comparison to that coin its hard to tell if it is a one cent or a half cent off hand do you know the size. Nice dig Dd60
