Was looking through my junk pile today... I think something is up...

Well some of you might know I have been finding the silver rings as of late... I think I got some kind of silver ring spell on me or something!

I was going through my junk pile and I spotted this ugly ring... I dunno why I decided to look closer but I did and I am glad I did! This is a good lesson for all of us... Keep the junk and go trough it from time to time... you be glad you did!

Most of mine are missing the stones... usually bent up...

Also I have never had much luck finding the stones.

I have two other silver rings that have stones I may put them on here to get them identified.

How could you miss the mark and that nice tarnish . In some places they believe that holed stones bring one luck. I hope a holed ring will bring you a lot of silver.

There are several reason why things like that got missed...

That was a very dirty ring...
I have better equipment (Better Camera, Magnifying Glass, Microscope, Light)
I now know my eyes alone and not good enough...
I am more educated...

Well I hope the luck of the silver holed ring is with me, I found 3 silver rings with holes in them in the last few months.

I have a junk bucket, and go through it before sending it off to recycle, for just that reason. Sometimes there is a dirt clod that gets attached to a larger junk piece, and it can hold something worthwhile.

Yeah... just look at the before picture I really thought it was junk but that was 10 years ago or more. (yeah I keep most of my junk stuff)
