Nice square nails. I like seeing those, even after being in the ground awhile.

When I find those, I know I'm where humans were active at least 100 years ago.

Everyone should be using their trash finds to date the sites they hunt: it makes EVERY find more interesting!

It's cause we still haven't shaken off that -40 stuff, makes it feel even hotter! ;D

Damn, that might be the best point you have ever made! ;D

Well the heat should help keep your detector hot because I think we'll get over there sometime in the near future. In other words... be ready!

Nice finds Mike. You have to hunt in the shade in this heat. Plus the ground is getting rock hard around here. So you have to hunt in the woods or the beach area....Matt

Mike, I arrived home after 1:30am from our first night CW Relic hunt with Dixiedigger in Southern Tennessee and saw your post. You went in the daytime and we were wimps (I'll say it before Modern Miner does) and hunted 3 hours at night. You recovered a nice assortment of finds from several different periods of history and earned each one of them. What's the date on the IH? HH Bud, Quindy.

Guys, you don't know what the real heat is. We have it for several months a year and it's very malicious because of that ozone hole and a high level of radiation. It takes some time to get used to it ;D. I like the buckle and the lock. How old are they?

I talked to Doug yesterday. He sent me a picture of his new home which looks real nice! We will get together this fall and do some digging over here and meet up with the Knoxville crew too!
Stay cool fellas
Mike
