I was walking through my father in laws plowed field yesterday
when I noticed something laying just on the outside of one of
the rows and picked it up and took it in to show Dave and he
thinks its an Indian spear weight or some ceremonial piece.
What do you all think it could be, its about 6 inches long and
is made out of some type of rock with circles in it.
Better pictures will follow when my sister in law brings my camera back.

Beautiful find, I think I need to educate myself on native american artifacts. I probably would have just passed by it. Following the link above, these items seem to sell for a good chunk of change. Good work! It may be worth authenticating, what do you think?

Way to go, Allen!! That is by far the most beautiful banner stone I've ever seen. Granted, it's the first banner stone I've ever seen, but I can't imagine them coming any prettier! :icon_thumleft:
