A couple of weeks ago my bestest childhood friend called and we have been corresponding in one way or another, either by the trusty e-mail or by phone. I have been sending her pictures and telling the stories of metal detecting and she was so intrigued that her hubby went and got her one too! Only problem is that its an Explorer II and she nor I had a clue how to work it. ??? She spent the day learning and I tried to help but not with much success. Told her to watch that video and read that manual! 8) Anyhow we spent all day together and had such a great time! We went to the pasture where there use to be a house and she said that a couple of years ago the place had already been hunted. Well I remember all the stories you guys post about detecting 'already hunted' sites and went anyway. ;) Glad I did! ;) After lunch we went to a church yard where we used to go and found modern stuff. The weather here was perfect and so was the company!

Nana ;)

Thanks ya'll!

34....back in the day it was a cement swimming pool. It was built on that stream that is fed by a spring a few blocks up....that water is soooo cold!
I spoke with her a couple of days ago and she is ready to go again! ;D Hopefully she has read that manual! :)
I think next time we need to walk along the walls to see what's there.

Thanks again!

Nana ;)

Congrats Nana. That half is really nice. It's is so easy to miss a target also. They never seem to get it all.
