With the 4 businesses that he personally operates, TENNJOSH has not had time for Dman and myself to get together with him and give him pointers on posting. Heck, he's too busy digging great relics.
A little after 6 am this morning, he called and said that he had just dug a U.S. Boxplate at the U.S. Cavalry site that he has been hunting in the early hours of the day lately. He said the signal was a large loud one reading consistently in the 70s on his F75. After digging through 6 inches of the hard dry Tennessee soil, he saw the lead back of the plate and thought it may be a zinc jar lid. As he cleaned around the lead, the oval shape began to reveal what it was. I'm sure Josh's knees were knocking as he pulled his first U.S. Boxplate from the ground.
He has been steadily adding to his already impressive box of relics from the site. I asked him to use the plate as his centerpiece and email a pic. Congrats again Josh. Shouldn't you have been working on putting the horns of my 8 point buck on a plaque instead of relic hunting this morning-LOL? HH, Quindy.
Josh reminded me that he found the first relic on this site on July 9th and the box represents a month of finds from there. He will be able to read your replies tonight when he gets home. He wants to sincerely thank all who looked and replied.
