Rare silver knee buckle, Updated with cleaner Pics.

Went back and hit the field I have been diggin the last few days. It was a slow night tonight. But I did manage this Buckle that I thought was a brooch til I got it home. This is probably the best buckle I have ever dug. All in all Im happy with tonights digs. Also posted it in the what is it forum, to try an find out exactly how old it is.

Heres a couple new pics of the buckle cleaned up a little better. This thing is a bear to clean. Been usuing a toothpic. That rust comes off hard.

Jesse, after reading Crusaders and others comments on the what is it section, it is pretty clear you have made an amazing discovery here. This would seem to me a definite banner find and probably has a fair amount of value.. Easily one of my top 3 favorite finds this year by anyone on the forum.

Excellent silver buckle you dont see many of those dug on this side, it is in great shape and a rare find it has a very similar floral design to the shoe buckle i dug last year, great hunt Dd60
If Mother Earth give,s us precious metals like gold silver and copper why leave them in the ground to disappear forever , dig them out and save History !!
