another very unexpected day at the local park

Got home from work and it was way too nice to not go out. only had about an hour or so till dark so went to the park where I found the indian head pennies and barber dime last month.

When I got there there was a girls soft ball practice just starting at the diamond where I found the stuff last time so I went to the far back side of the park to hunt. first hit a deep penny. it cant be another indian 1887 at 9 inches. moving along the edge of the park I get an iffy signal. down about 7 inches i get a nice musket ball. the second from this park this year. next is a solid pull tab hit but it seems a bit deep. No way a flat button early 1800s. now how the heck did that get here? starting to get dark so I head back on the way I get another solid penny hit. another indian head 1906 at only 4 inches. got 2 more memorial pennies on the way to the car. only 2 pull tabs all day not a bad day for a park built in the 70s.

Cool Timmy. Nice job on finding the indians....It's funny how they're so different. One is really nice and one is pretty beat up.

There must have been a house there at one time.

It really must have been a nice day for you if you only had to dig two pull tabs to get all those great finds.

Congrats!

Nana ;)
