Hello!

I got out today for a few hours! I really wasn't planning on it this morning ~ I was real tired from the day before because I took my son and his friend Craw Fishing. We spent about 4 hours in the creek and we caught abouit 200 Craw dad's. It was a lot of fun, but dang I was tired and sore from doing all that work! But this afternoon I felt better and so I decided to go detecting! Here's a break down of what I dug today:

1948-S Washington Quarter
1920-D Mercury Dime
1954-S Roosevelt Dime
1941-S Jefferson nickel
1987 Ten Kronur from Iceland
3.3 gram Silver Ring (unmarked)
5 Wheat Cents (1944 to 1958)
12 clad quarters
18 clad dimes
10 modern nickels
66 copper Memorial cents

I took pic's of the silver before and after I cleaned 'em up. These coins are my silver coin finds #112, #113, & # 114 for the year. Also, I added a picture of all the craw dads from Saturday ~ it's hard to tell from the picture but it's a huge pile of 'em! SO YUMMY!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Nice silver finds Neil........
The foreign coin from Iceland is
a different find. But living in a big
University town, people from all over
drop things and we find them.
Congratulations..........Gold Nuggets :hello:

You're still on your silver streak, Neil! Way to go.

I love going crawdad fishing, too, and that is one heck of a pile you've got there. Hard to find better eating than that.

Nice mess of crayfish, plus some really nice silvers. Only someone who hunts often in Oregon really knows how much time you spent finding those coins! Congratulations!

Nice coins Neil, and nice pile of crawdads! We used to fill a 5 gallon bucket full, then take 'em home to cook. Can't find 'em anymore, due to all the development and poor water quality. ffd

THANKS MAN!!

YES, true that! Lots of hours spend swinging that coil over the ground ~ only a few silvers to show for my time, but it sure is FUN!

Great looking silver finds Neil! :icon_thumright:
At least you didn't have to dig 200 holes to recover the crayfish! :laughing9: :laughing9:
