Short Evening Hunt...

Dad had a quick hunt on some land we have done for years & managed a Hammered of Ed I (Picture 1)

We decided to do a couple of hours on the Barley Field we had covered, as it had rained a lot so we felt it worth trying again.

Worked out well, as I had another 2 hammered

3 Roman Coins (not pictuired)
Broken Georgian Seal fob.
Rose Farthing
Bits...

Nice one Cru . My fave field has just been disced so I am going out tomorrow morning. The last 2 days have been stubble and a bit disappointing, I'm thinking about getting the bigger coil for the Xp to see if that makes a difference. Nice Eddy 1 for Cru'Dad, give him a pat on the back for me.

Since using the 11", I haven't taken it off. I have found more hammered farthings with it than all my machines & coils put together. It is still really sensitive, you will wish you did it earlier

Its an early 1800s button, I think Military but can't get a match.
