Interesting old pocket knife. . . ("R" rated)

I found this pocket knife in the woods the other day. . . in the past, this
area's been good for V-nickels, IndianHeads and a few Barbers. . . just to
set the time-frame.

I didn't realize the extent of the graphics on this knife until after I cleaned
it up. . . (a lot better than the other knives I've found there :D)

Be nice if you could get a blade open and get the maker. Nice find.

Very cool knife .. One of the more prominent "risque" knife makers was G.R.C. (Golden Rule Cutlery Company) from Chicago, Ill. and were very popular during the 1920s.

Here is a link to a little info about the company: http://books.google.com/books?id=jy...=Golden Rule Cutlery company, chicago&f=false
That is a real nice find!

Thanks for the link on that. . . interesting info!
When looking at the graphics, there is a half-tone "dot" screen.

Wow what a beauty. Most of the knives I find have lost the artwork (wait, make that all of them :laughing7: )

What a super find. can't wait to see if you get any more information about it.
