Wow awesome finds gypsy!! Some nice iron relics too! Whats that diamond shaped small spike that has the two parallel bars of metal on it? i think iv seen one somewhere, maybe used to tie down rope or something?

It is stamped McCormick and I think it is something for a plow.

Pretty nice job on research and exploration there!! Fun place to keep you digging for awhile - have you considered trying to glue any of the broken things back together by finding all the pieces which are likely there?

Would obviously take alot of work and patience, but might be fun to try to do for some of the more unique or attractive items.

GH, be carefull what you drag out of that hole. I used to bottle dig years ago. I found an old dump such as yours one time and pulled out a 2 ft. copperhead. I aint talking pennies either. luckily it was very cold and he was very slow. However, there was nothing slow about me. :)
