I hit my usual spot this Saturday Morning for about 2.5 hours. I was hitting mostly clad and Lincoln's until I pulled a broken toy gun handle. I proceeded to hit a new spot about 100 yards and across the street from where I found the gun. I got another signal and flipped the plug. No way. I found another EXACT copy of the broken toy gun handle. Now this is not a mirror image of the same gun handle. These are TWO right side handles broken at the exact same spot and found yards apart. Beyond bizarre. After about 2hrs of getting a few wheats and a pocket of clad, Troy finally made it over to join the hunt. Troy is definitely my good luck MD buddy. Not more that 20 minutes after he arrived and just as I was getting ready to leave for my company golf tourney I got a 79-80 and dug my oldest silver to date. A well worn 1917 Mercury Dime. The final count was:

1917 Mercury Dime
1952-D Wheatie
1955-D Wheatie
4 - Quarters
9 - Dimes (one 1965)
44 - Lincolns (one 1959-D)
4 - Zincolns
two bears on a string. Hair thing I think
two IDENTICAL broken gun handles. How Bizarre.
plated necklace charm with the letter B on it

(Update: If you search youtube for JAD5822 I have the video of this find.)
Thanks!

Jim
