New site gives up some cool stuff!

I recently did some research on a new site where a house dating back to the mid 1700's once stood. The historically registered house has been moved and renovated and the lot is clear and free of trash. I gave it a try and found some old wire and square nails. I also dug up this hammer to some kind of gun, I think it may be from a shotgun, also found 2 large cents, one has no date and the other is 1842. The one with no date looks different from the 1842 and I am assuming it's a large cent. A friend and I will be digging some more this weekend so keep and eye out for more finds.

Yup the first largie is a draped bust. The hammer is off a musket. And is a very cool find. Hit that place again. :icon_thumright:
