Had a good day in the woods. Found some Civil War bullets and I thought I had my first 1800's coin. :hello2:
Got home and cleaned the coin and turns out it's a 1902 Liberty head nickle that's in real bad shape. >:( But I still had a good time out today. The wheather was allmost perfect here in Virginia. :icon_thumright:
Here are some before and after pictures, not a lot of difference though. ::)

My hunting partners have been hitting this site for a couple years now. They have pulled some real nice stuff out. They have found gold coins, belt plates, bayonet scabards and lot's of other stuff. But pickings are getting scarce now.
