Hi everyone, Haven't been on to post lately. Been busy working and haven't got out for the last 10 days.

Before that I got a few hunts in coming up with very little. This is my least favorite season to hunt.

I found one wheat. A silver plated spoon from the 40's or 50's. A nice green clay marble. And one nice flat button from the early 1800's.

It's hot and really dry here in pittsburgh pa. I love to woods hunt and since we had such a mild winter there coming in really strong and fast.

My brother has been really busy playing baseball to. So I haven't had a partner to really hunt over some lands.

I found alot this winter and didn't really save any spots for now either. Got some ideas and area's in mind though.

Tommorow is my birthday. I'll be 25. I'm gonna try and get out. I always have really good luck on that day.

Good luck evereyone,

HH Jer

I know what you mean about the woods. Does make it tough when all those weeds grow in. I find that I get a little less time to hunt now with all the yardwork and extra outdoor activities. Good luck on some new spots.

Thanks aot everyone. I had a good day today. I did get out but finds were slim. Just a bunch of relics.

I spent more time catching frogs tad poles cray fish fish. You name it my son had me catching it.

I did have my luck in another way though.

I am a serious sport card collector.

Well my wife came home from work early today and surprized me while I was outside washing my car.

She brought me a cake and a box of 2006 topps baseball cards. I got other stuff from her also. This was just something extra and little for my b-day. She's impatient and I end up opening my gifts a week early.

I set the box of cards to the side. Gathered my detecting gear and went out.

When I got home with little to show for and more amphibians than I knew to do with.

I decided to sit down open my cards and chill out.

I got through about 3 packs or so and pulled a authentic Mickey Mantle game bat card. It was one in every 14,000 packs. It was serial numbered 132/157 in the world.

For people who don't collect it was like finding a gold coin detecting.

I always have this luck on my b-day. But this year it came in another form. Last year I found the cache that made W&E best finds 05.

The luck continues. I think someone above is watching over me.

I know Monty, would like this one. Mantle was his favorite player.

Thanks for looking,

HH Jer
