A lamp ?

Yesterday afternoon I found this object at a depth of about 15 inches.Seems to be a part of the candle lantern is made of bronze and do not know how old it may be...

Kinda looks like an old gas fixture

This looks like a candle holder from a candle chandelier.
Most likely dates to the late 18th or early 19th century.

 

[Recovering Relics]

It looks like a candle holder to me, but it also might be a piece to an old gas lamp. It's a great find!
