Summer Kitchen Day 2

Only had an hour to hunt today so I hit the area were I found the wheat and merc last time. Had my niece Aislinn (10) and nephew Lachlan (11) helping today so that made it extra fun. We found two wheats 1940 & 1939-s both at 3-4 inches near the sidewalk going out to the lane. We also found a Utah state tax token which was really exciting also at 4 inches near the walk. The three buttons are from garters but not sure if for womens stockings or mens socks. Found some other stuff that was interesting as well including: a spike, 22 rimfire (spent casing), 12 gauge low brass (spent casing), a mystery piece of metal, gold colored salt shaker lid, plastic/bone button, and a spam key (you should now sing the spam song by Monty Python for full effect!!) All in all a great hour! Going back tomorrow.

Man, it feels good to fnd something no matter how small huh?!
Those are great compared to my recent findings. Must be the week for Tax Tokens (in my thread "First Finds")
I just found a Colorado one.

May your digger stay sharp and your detector buzz loudly!
