Hi, I was hunting a new site with very few signals when I got a really good, Deep quarter/half dollar signal on my Explorer se. I dug the hole and about eight inches down I pull this out!!! It is a 1784-1934 methodist church sesquicentennial medallion it is the size of a silver dollar, I never sell my finds but just to satisfy my curiousity what is it worth in dug condition? also, how can I clean it and make it look like bronze again? thanks.

Nice item, but i wouldnt even try to make it look like bronze you will be very unhappy with it, A lot of the detail will be lost and getting the corrosion out of the pits is nearly impossible, just leave it be.. Went to the fairgrounds again and found a 27 wheaty, nothing else.
