I was at one of the parks that has been giving up silver and noticed a plaque at the ball park that said it was founded in 1927. I thought "what the heck" and I wandered into the outfield. I was getting alot of clad and about the time I figured I was wasting my time I got a deep solid Quarter signal, made a plug and out came the 1899 Barber half. It's a bit beat up so I wonder if the area was farmed at one time. Also pictured from this weekend are the '34d, '42 and '42d Mercs, the '56d and '46d Rosies, the '20 sliced Merc, the '95 and '06 I.H. and an Oklahoma tax token. It was a weekend for wheats, I dug 42 of them. Thanks for looking and HH

It may seem ugly, but I agree with "no such thing as ugly silver!": it's all good. Sounds like the outfield was a good place to concentrate at. I usually try to hit the infield VERY carefully.
