Then I found the locking leather bank bag under the leaf duff !! already cut and cleaned out DAMM !! Did find 1 toasted 2 cent piece sized coin ! and 1 nice flat button with thread and a piece of the fabric still attatched !! Oh yeah and I saved a brass name tag fron an old iron milk jug ! J. B. I know how you feel, I dug a LC sized blank copper planchet a few weeks back :'( :P :D  There's always the prospect of vindication right around the corner at the next hunt!

Those are some neat finds MaineRelic, I like the bank bag to, found one of those last fall, it was just the lock part with some bag attached, it had been crudely cute off and dumped in a creek, still have not heard from the Police about it, nice work and HH!

:dontknow: Maybe it's me , "Tricky" name plate , coin that is so close to being a large cent , that is not , empty bank security bag , things just seem weird the closer it gets to Halloween . I guess its because I am still suffering from the effects of the venom, from the crazy jumping , spider that bit me the other day :P Cool stuff MR , too bad the bag wasn't jammed with C notes ! $$$ :laughing7:

Now MR, you can only have just so many cache finds in a year. :laughing7: Those robbers just cleaned that bag out and tossed it. I do like the George Washington medal. That's a fun piece.

Keep up the digging!
