You got horses in Montana? lol Very nice, thats all my newbie girlfreind wants to find. I think she'd rather find a horse shoe than a silver coin! My Dad lives in Butte about 3-4 hours north of me, I think I'll take her & the detectors up there & let her live her dream! ;D

Pete,
All you need is one more horseshoe, and a horse, and you can stage your own protest against high gas prices.
Nice relics!

I found an aluminum horse shoe recently. Why would there be such a thing??? Racing perhaps?

Congrats Pete, great finds!

There are some on here who are aware of the value of these finds. Do a search online and you can find some interesting info on old horseshoes.

In fact, recently a large museum featured a display of horseshoes from ancient times to present.

I'm just now learning about early square nails. I thought these were just junk and have been throwing them away :'( Very bad move!

All very collectable.

Um, well I didn't want to be the one to break this to you but, those are not golden horse shoes. Better luck next time. Tsgman
