Got three of those hard to find, elusive, rare and highly prized Horse shoes. Right in the center of down town Billings Montana. Also found one railroad spike. We're having steaks tonight!

You got horses in Montana? lol Very nice, thats all my newbie girlfreind wants to find. I think she'd rather find a horse shoe than a silver coin! My Dad lives in Butte about 3-4 hours north of me, I think I'll take her & the detectors up there & let her live her dream!

Congrats Pete, great finds!

There are some on here who are aware of the value of these finds. Do a search online and you can find some interesting info on old horseshoes.

In fact, recently a large museum featured a display of horseshoes from ancient times to present.

I'm just now learning about early square nails. I thought these were just junk and have been throwing them away Very bad move!
