title sums it up....i found 87 cents in clad with one penny being a wheatie (1936).....and then i had a hit which read like a shotgun shell or an indian head penny...about 2" deep...i dig it up and find a white disc....hmmm...i see what looks to be very crude reeds on the edge...maybe an identifying mark or two but im not sure if its even a coin until this morning....sure enough, its a spanish 1/2 real!!! cant beleive it, the first one ive ever found (i have found a 2 real, long ago)....just goes to show...DIG THAT TARGET because you just dont know for sure. too bad its so worn down, holed, barely recognizeable....but still! ;D

i can see part of the "RO" in Carolus....parts of the back of the head with some kind of ribbons, and some of the edge pattern. but thats it. the reverse is basically worn smooth....nothing to see. THE OTHER (NICER) PIC IS FOR COMPARISON, I DIDNT FIND IT.
