Dad & I had a plan A,B, & C but ended up doing none of them when we saw they had taken in the Sugar Beet on 1 of our Roman Sites. We have done this site for 3-4 years & as you can see its still producing, although the coins are getting smaller as the XP sifts them out

Spent 5.5 hours in hailstone & rain showers, cold & wet but a nice double rainbow ended in the field.

22nd (Light) Dragoons Pewter Button (missing iron shank) - not sure if its pre-Napoleonic Wars or during :-\ - either way its pretty rare & I need it :icon_thumright:
30 Roman Bronze Coins
eyes only - fossil :icon_thumright:
Nearly complete but straighten out Roman Bronze Childs Bracelet
17th Century Buckle
Broken Hammered
Catchplate of Roman Fibula

Thirty is pleasing in 1 day (specially with the sticky mud & rain etc), we only had 50 off the whole site in the first year.

I'm used to bad weather (I just call it weather, nothing that bad about it, because it doesn't affect my searching very much), although I often wonder what those in the nearby houses are thinking when looking out their windows :laughing9: Also its harder for Dad to write the GPS co-ords onto paper with the rain & sticky mud hands  :D
