Carried on from where we left off last Sunday when I found the 2 nice Roman Silvers. No such luck today, we did manage 34 Roman Bronze Coins which was a surprise for only 4 hours. Mostly because we are now in the area we commonly refer to as the scatter, an area on the limits of the site that only hold the odd coin. By the end of tomorrow we will have finished this site & this season is starting to wind down :( We still still hold a few fields up our sleeves but it will be nose to the grind stone from now on

Small fragment of Roman bracelet
Tiny Medieval spur buckle fitment
Charles II Farthing
Cheap locket which opened but was empty :P
AA Car badge
Livery Button (greyhound head)

Neat finds once again, is the locket of same age?
Almost looks like there's an outline of face on the left hand side of the locket.
Then again some of us see imaginary things that are not really there on finds posted up at different times. :tongue3:

The locket is 150 years max, can't see anything on it but not bother with cleaning it properly.
