Short CW relic hunt after the park hunt

I got invited to hunt some private property this afternoon where a lady has been finding a lot of civil war relics and coins. She was right out there hunting with us and right away she finds a stirrup and wheat or IH penny (too dirty at the time to tell). I had a target that took me a while to dig out. It was an old wagon wheel hub. I also found a fired 3 ringer and some other relics.

nice hunt! read your post made me think about having a site to hunt for relics because all the public sites around were i live are hit hard and even the private sites have been hit hope your relic site treats you good have fun and keep digging krazyhorses

Good luck with that site. I would check out where you dug the hub. Sometimes it could be a trash pit or hut site. Dig down about an extra two feet.
