Staten Island Silver

The Traveling Contractor (Dirtfishing) is in the NYC area until tomorrow. I decided to get out to a local park as I am staying in Staten Island. Found a Merc and Silver Washington the first ten minutes I was there. Wound up with three Mercs, all 1943, and a 64 Quarter. Also found a General Dual B Token (For only a Dollar less), and a Sterling and Enamel Ring. Also found two Wheats and a 57 Dog License. Thats Nine Slivers in the first two weeks with my E-trac..........can't wait till I learn how to use it!!!

At least I didn't find it at a Civil War Dig like your Washington Quarter from DIV!! Actually I needed that one for my Whitman Book, it's a 64-D

Nice silver,but be aware in NYC parks you need a permit and if a Ranger see's you without one, you could receive a very expensive Summons.

Yep, looked into it yesterday, and they only issue them in January. Park Police drove right up by me on the jogging path, and we waved at eachother...............I'm pretty sure he had better things to do
