Greetings All,
Dug an LC that I didn't have to clean before posting! ;D
a 2 prong iron fork, about 3.5", not a Barbecue utensil.
Pocketknife frame, wish the inlay was intact :(
Another lead token, have been told before they were issued by employers for work done, to be redeemed for payment.
Another Token, it says ' Metropolitan Transit Authority One Fare'
can't find this one listed anywhere, NY and LA use this term, but the ones I've found don't match, Anyone seen this? :read2:
Best to you all & HH

Hi Hispan, LC is an abbreviation that's commonly used for Large Cent (some also say Largie or Largey) - not sure why ddjames said "epic...so well preserved" (unless he was being sarcastic :icon_scratch:) as it is somewhat toasted on the obverse, but a nice and uncommon find nonetheless.

Thanks for all your replies!
Apologies for the abbreviation, I Should have considered that not everyone reading this will have the term 'Ell-see' bouncing through their head all day like me :-[
The # "1", just a 2" high stamped piece, with 2 shankmarks on back.
I wouldn't call the coin 'Epic' either, it's just in better shape than most copper
that I dig, below is what I usually get :P
Good Day & HH To You!
