musket ball and bullet fragment (?)

Greetings,

We have a small depression out in the middle of our back pasture - not very big or deep just an out of place low spot that catches water when it rains. Went out to detect it with the F5 and found a musket ball that is just a hair over 1/2 of an inch across, a "snip" off of a much larger lead ball, and 2 small identical flat lead disc that are hollow on one side and slightly concave on the other. They look like the backs of bullets to my untrained eye but there is no primer.

Any ideas?

BTW the nickle is a 1963 that I got in change this morning - Fun!
