I was getting together my common date silver coins this evening. I have 135 coins with a silver weight of more than 25 oz. At today's market price this translates into roughly $760. But tomorrow... ???

As I was looking for various other silver things to cash in...rings, charms etc. that I have found over the last year, I stumbled across an odd thing. It was a souvenir from the Bicentennial that I think I got as a gift when I was 16 from some relative. I never paid much attention, but I noticed the package was no longer sealed, so I slipped it out to look to see if it was Sterling and it is! 500 grains, or approximately 1.14 oz!

These types of "collectibles" are rarely worth more than their weight. I have a set of 20 Apollo silver dollars somewhere as well. Those may be worth a bit more than the melt value.
[/quote] Agreed & using Ebay to guage value is ok to get a rough idea of what people will pay IF you search completed auctions only but using someones "asking" price tells you nothing.
