I was getting together my common date silver coins this evening. I have 135 coins with a silver weight of more than 25 oz. At today's market price this translates into roughly $760. But tomorrow...
As I was looking for various other silver things to cash in...rings, charms etc. that I have found over the last year, I stumbled across an odd thing. It was a souvenir from the Bicentennial that I think I got as a gift when I was 16 from some relative. I never paid much attention, but I noticed the package was no longer sealed, so I slipped it out to look to see if it was Sterling and it is! 500 grains, or approximately 1.14 oz!
