Roman looking thing...

Not quite sure what it is, but found this the other day, about 1.5" under the dirt. I wasn't anywhere special, just one of my local parks. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure it's nothing of value, probably off of an old piece of furniture or something, but it looks kind of cool.

How big is that thing? Judging by the scratches on what appears to be your drafting table, I'd say it's pretty small. If it IS, it looks like it could be one of those things you use to screw a lamp shade on to a lamp. Or something of the sort.
