I found this today I think it is a love token made out of a silver kreuzer. It is about the size of a dime. The front says "Immanuel and Maria" Don't sound German. ??? The back has a nice old style German eagle on it.I am trying to get some good pictures of the cannonball that I found last week but I can't seem to master the resizing from the camera. I also got some minnies and some grape shot. I found a nice old coin also but it is still soaking. I think I can see a 17 on it but it has lots of tarnish ..I got a couple of cannonball peices, small buttons and minnies also. Thanks for looking and HH. :)The wagonwheel was a flea market find. Ten euro (about 13 bucks). :) Finally got a couple of pics up. :)

Dave ,I am pretty sure the ball is Prussian. The area where it was dug is a wooded area where the French spent the night and were shelled by the Prussians. The French launched the battle to early. They did not wait for there artillery to get in place . They attacked before having artillery to soften em up ???causing them to loose the battle.
