I was given this the other day by my Grandmother while talking about some family history, there is a complete set of these guys coats and cuffs and came from my Great x 4 uncle John J. L. Stevens 8th Va Calvary.
Shes a real beauty!!!

I have to be the next person to say that these definetly need to behind glass. Not your ordinary Riker box either.I would gather all the info and pic's as you can and have it done up right,matted and all.Thank's for sharing Jame's....awesome piece of family history.

Beautiful and treasured piece of history and who better for your Grandmother to give it to than to someone in the family who will honor and treasure it and hold it up in a place of sanctity; namely you, her Grandson. My Grandmother has done the same thing for me with several family heirlooms. Congratulations there James!
