Got out today for a few hours with my buddy Lisa who also detects. Her husband had researched an old park that probably had some revolutionary war activity. Both of us found lots of clad but I also got lucky to find my first draped bust LC. Unfortunately it is pretty much toast so I don't think there is any hope of getting a date off of it. I had to dig under a root but it was only about 5" down. Rang up 12-48 on the etrac. Won't bother with a pic of the back as there is only a slight sign of the wreath.

Now if you could just find some silver from that era it won't be toast! Keep huntin' it!
