1st real day out with the e-track, went to a yard ive hit at least 6 times , 1860s house huge yard , well the e-track really did well. got a 57 quarter , 3 indians , my 1st v nickel in years , nickle was in a hole with a indian and 2 wheats , then 2 indians with 3 wheats , 11 wheats (one was a very nice 1914) no d . a crotal bell, an old key and i think the other thing is a button hook for button shoes , and best of all no clad.

Hey my friend, Are you saying that the 6 times prior hunting that ground you were using a different machine? If so, how do rate the minelab machine to the other? Those are some nice digs there, my hearty Congrats!

Dave, looks like an old lace hook, a tool like this was used to tighten laces on "old" lace up boots. Back in the UK in the40's and 50's we used to use a tool like this to lace up soccer ball, long before these new fagled bladder less balls

yes indeed , i hit that yard hard with my minelab SE, and the e-track did much better , deeper targets and separation from iron was great and it was so quiet , i had to wave my ring under the coil to make sure it was working

Invariably the first few times I hunt an old site, most of my digging is for the shallow (clad) targets. Now that you've hunted this place 6-7 times, chances are good that only the good stuff remain. I'll bet there are some nice targets still there. Keep us updated!
