It doesn't look pretty, but for me its a great find for the following reasons.
1. I can ID it
b. I can see a date 1904.
III. Its a freekin Barber Quarter.
I have detected this area for a couple of years and never found a silver quarter. This year I have found 5, 4 Barbers and a Standing Liberty. This hobby is so unpredictable and makes no sense at times. :icon_scratch:
All the best.

A few of those Barbers are pretty rough, but I gotta tell you they are pretty darned cool looking. The rougher the better. Might look nice mounted in a piece of jewelry.
